It could be anything, from anyone. I was gonna ask "what's your favourite feat from each character?" but then I'd be expected to list out my own, and I'm energy-efficient (read: lazy), so I'll just say my favourite one is when Jeanne solo'd the combined forces of Paradiso and Inferno in Bayonetta 2 when making way for Bayonetta and Balder to reach Fimbulventr and stop Aesir from his wicked weave plot. It's not the first time she's fought single-handedly against a huge armada of forces (we see her do that (or at least it's implied) in Bayonetta 1 after she sealed B1!Bayonetta away in the red gem), but her not just fighting, but also beating the shit out of both angels AND demons at the same time? We know she won since she was still alive, and it may have been off-screened, but damn if it doesn't make me love the Platinum Witch even more. She's shown time and again that she absolutely earned her position as Heir to the Umbran Throne (assuming she wasn't just a nepotism hire lmao). I've also really loved the fact that Jeanne also summoned a Gomorrah to vore Loptr/Aesir's body, despite having gotten her shit rocked by one since Bayonetta got a little sloppy (why does Jeanne keep having to save Cereza from things and then getting jobbed as a result all the time?? Jeanne AND Cereza deserve better than that). Just the fact that she was enough of a bad bitch to summon the very demon that killed her and make it her complete and utter bitch again is just so top-tier badass to me tbh. I can't help but imagine that Jeanne really enjoys using Demon Slave on Gomorrah just to fuck with it even more, as payback for killing her lol. SO! What is/are your favourite feat(s)? This series is so wacky, kooky, and crazy that there's no shortage of them. I wonder how many people are gonna mention the time Bayonetta headbutted a giant building Balder's way in Bayonetta 1, or her sending the giant satellite back to Aesir using the strength of her hips (and a little help from her wings, I think). Let me know what feat you've always adored!

Bayonetta kicking off Jeanne’s outfit in 1 and seeing her reform in her battle uniform with her hair and then be formally introduced as “Umbra Witch Jeanne” never fails to give me chills. That whole fight is amazing. I also really love Masked Lumen and Bayo’s fight in the Records of Time. The way she shoots into his eye hole is really gorgeous. As an honourable mention another one of my favourites is her fighting Alraune and having the little dance-off.

All game long, characters had been being introduced with splash pages of the Hierarchy of the Laguna book or whatever. And we had fought Jeanne multiple times before that. But her finally getting her own little title and subtitle to introduce her, late in the game but finally properly and officially, while matching Bayonetta's Umbran warrior outfit except in her own white hair...that shit was AMAZING. It truly felt like an "oh shit" moment they had set the groundwork for with all the previous character debut/title drops, and it fully paid off and treated like The Final Test/having reached the other side after all our efforts, and we were rewarded with Jeanne's true title and status as an Umbra witch. It felt like we earned the privilege to meet her as her equal. And I think that's some of the best delayed/cathartic character introduction and payoff that I've ever seen in video games, let alone any other medium. Absolutely a top contender for amazing feat. Also agreed on the Bayonetta vs Masked Lumen fight in the Records of Time timeline. Team Little Angels, they really know how to show off effortless cool style!

I really need to start making Bayonetta content for YouTube, but my first/last video critiquing the story for Bayonetta 3 flopped so hard, you'd have thought it was trying to speedrun the Witch Trials. It was very fun/rewarding to make, though, so I'll probably try my hand at it again; maybe a "put some respect on Jeanne's name" type deal or "Why BayoJeanne works and why BayoLuka doesn't" if I wanted to get into the weeds of it all lmao.

Omg I was thinking of starting a YouTube series going into detail about various aspects of the lore and how it correlates to real-world mythology and witchcraft but I’m kinda glad I didn’t since B3 destroyed so much of what made the story coherent.

Do it anyways! Frame it as what you thought prior to B3, or just focus on how B1 and B2 factor in, and then perhaps acknowledge what in B3 makes it seem nonsensical, but still putting stock in your original reading. People might resonate with it, and I'm sure it'll be fascinating. Plus, I'm always down to watch more Bayonetta content lmao.

The feats of physical strength live in my head rent free. Bayo grabbing Fortitudo by the head and body slamming him? Redirecting a speeding fighter jet with just one kick? Throwing buildings around? Gimme MORE

I'd love to see that, in all honesty.
